Emerging Tech Marketers Need in 2025

It’s easy to follow trends, in the fast-paced world of marketing. But for me, the real power of emerging technology isn’t just in being "new": it’s in being meaningful. It’s about creating campaigns that connect, educate, and inspire action. Possibilities of digital adoption. That’s why I use tech not just to increase reach but also to connect better with user's purchasing needs.

Here’s in the blog: you will get to look at how I used emerging tech and platforms like AR, TikTok, Canva, and CapCut to bring purpose-led campaigns to solve marketing challenges of brands, including how I tied them to real-world issues like sustainability and well-being.
Veja Sneakers: Step to Save Earth Campaign
The brand’s Challenge was to increase awareness of environmentally sustainable manufacturing processes.
When conceptualizing a campaign for sustainable sneaker brand Veja, the goal was to do more than just raise awareness. The client struggled with brand visibility and wanted a campaign that felt urgent, relevant, and purposeful. I strategically chose 55th Global Earth Day as the launch moment to anchor the campaign in a global day of action. As we know, Earth Day is near, and it can be impactful.
I created this Campaign Name: Step to Save Earth!

As a marketer, I believe that anchoring campaigns to members of the community and client's pain points matters. Earth Day was not just a theme; it was a mindset. It gave me a shared cultural context to build from my integration of AR Filter, the idea I pitched to integrate technology on TikTok to visualize eco-impact.
For example: Imagine, when applied, each physical step the user takes on camera takes the user to a beautiful green trail or a mini forest. This playful filter can make challenge video trends more engaging and shareable.

Case Study in SMM program: L’Oréal
Campaign Name: Celebrating You
As I created this campaign, I wanted to go beyond product promotion. The idea was to make beauty personal, fun, and empowering by using AR as the point of connection between the brand and the audience. GenZ gifting to their mother, product: Hair colour brand under L’Oréal, and what it called for was an innovative, diversified, and tech-savvy campaign. I began by experimenting with the AR colouring tool on my own, which helped me understand the end-user experience before building the campaign around it.

Strategy:
TikTok AR Filter: to Try on Virtual Hair Colour shades.
Seasonal Campaign: launch on Mother's Day and Father's Day
Branded Hashtags: #ColourHer to encourage the audience to share transformational stories, which we call UGC content.
Cross-platform promotion on Instagram: Short-form videos, reel stories and user-generated & Influencer collaboration.

As you know, I organize various community events; I use creative online tools to maximize outreach. From QR code signup to social-friendly ready promo graphics in Canva, every piece of content supported a bigger mission: connect people to causes that matter and the goal of the campaign.

Strategy: Used Canva to make posters, CapCut to make event teaser reels and social media to engage live.

What I believe:
It's not about using every tool-it's about choosing those most well-suited to your mission. When creating product launches or community events, emerging tech allows us to do more with our work than just promote it. It allows us to spark change.
